BCTIA recognizes Icron for its USB over DisplayPort technology for desktop and mobile computing
Icron Technologies announced that they have been chosen the winner of the prestigious 2010 Technology Impact Award for Most Promising Pre-Commercial Technology for their USB over DisplayPort technology for desktop and mobile computing. Presented by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA), this award acknowledges a pre-commercial technology in the R&D stage of development with the potential to commercialize and represents a fundamental advancement in technology.
“We are pleased to recognize Icron for its innovative USB over DisplayPort technology,” stated Pascal Spothelfer, BCTIA President and CEO. “Icron’s unique emerging technology presented the most promising potential to commercialize and succeed over the next few years,” added Spothelfer.
